The following text is for questions 1 to 3.
The king of the mice lived inside a banyan tree in a forest. One day, a poor man was cutting down some trees. As he started to cut down the banyan tree, the king of the mice grew frightened.
“Please leave the tree standing and I’ll give you a piece of gold every day.”
The woodcutter agreed. So every evening the king of the mice took out a piece of gold and under the roots of the tree and gave it to the woodcutter. The woodcutter took the gold home and showed them to his wife.
After a few days, his wife asked him, “Where does the gold come from?”
“Don’t worry about that, just keep it.”, he said.
A few days later she asked him again, but he did not tell her.
“If you don’t tell me, I’ll go and tell the government or even the king that you’re a robber”
The woodcutter was frightened of his wife when she was angry. So he said, “Every evening the king of the mice gives me piece of gold from under the roots of the tree.”
“Oh, you are stupid! You’ve been tricked by a mouse. He gives you one piece of gold every evening but the rest of the gold is under the tree all the time. Why don’t you cut down the tree and take it all away?”

The following text is for questions no.5 to 8.
            Many years ago, the sea tasted like ordinary rainwater so it was tasteless. The people living in the islands did not have salt for their food, but luckily they knew about a friendly giant who kept mounds of salt in his cave. People would cross the ocean with their boats to reach the giant’s island, and that was how they were able to bring salt back to their villages in order to prepare more delicious meals.
            One day the ocean was quite rough for several days so they could not sail out to gather salt. They eventually ran out of salt and the villagers could no longer enjoy their tasteless meals. They wondered how they could get salt again. A child suggested them to ask the giant to stretch out his legs over the ocean so that they could walk on his legs to his island. The kind-hearted giant agreed and the villagers with empty salt sacks walked along the giant’s legs.
            Unfortunately, the giant’s leg landed on an ant hill, and the dangerous red ants started biting his enormous legs. The giant felt hurt, but they still managed to arrive at the giant’s island to get the salt. On their way back home, the giant asked the people to hurry up, but the heavy salt sacks sowed them down.

He brought food and honey to the mouth of its lair, and said to it, “ Let’s forget and forgive. Perhaps you were right to punish my son, and take revenge on my cattle, but surely I was right in trying to revenge him. Now that we are both satisfied, why should not we be friends again? “No, no” said the snake. Take away your gifts. You can never forget the death of your son, nor I loss of my tail. Injuries may be forgiven, but not forgotten.”

Geckos are small to middle size lizards. Lizards are reptiles. There are 1196 different kinds of geckos. They live in many warm countries. Some kinds of geckos go into people's houses. People are often happy to have them because geckos eat 38 many insects.
Unlike most lizards, geckos have voices. A gecko sounds a little like a bird or a frog. In some languages these lizards have names that sound like their calls, for example, both English and Indonesian call one kind gecko (gek KO) and tokay (to-KAY). Another kind of gecko, with a different sound, is called chicak (CHEE chak).
Geckos have no eyelids. Instead, they have a clear membrane (skin) over their eyes. They lick the membrane clean with their tongues. Like most lizards, they can
regenerate their tail if they need to.
Many kinds of geckos can walk on walls, windows and ceilings. They can do this because they have special toe pads. A microscope can show that each toe pad is made of thousands of hair-like structures. Each of these structures branches into many smaller ends.

            Picasso was one of the most outstanding and important artists of the 1900’s. he is best known for his paintings. Almost every style in modern art is represented in Picasso’s works.
            Picasso was born in 1881 in Malaga, Spain as the son of an art teacher. He studied painting from his father and his college level course of study at the academy of arts in Madrid.
From about 1895 to 1901, he painted realistic works in a traditional style. He, then entered what was called the Blue Period. During this time, he only uses shades of blue in his paintings to show the poverty he saw in Barcelona. After 1908, he entered into the style of cubism. Among, his well-known cubist paintings are “Three Musicians” and “Man with a Guitar”. Picasso died in Moughins, France in 1973. He was really great artist.
